Battle in the Barn General Info
Location and Amenities
- Henderson's Arena is located at 800 Van Fossan Rd, Jackson, OH.
- Plenty of flat parking, separate pit area, and clean restrooms.
- Homemade, hot, delicious concessions serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
General Rules
- Please be respectful and courteous to the facility, landowners, and each other.
- Keep fire lanes clear at all times. Do not block anyone in.
- Daily admission: $10 per person. Kids 4 & under are free.
- Payment methods: Cash or check only. No debit/credit cards and no ATM on site. Please plan accordingly.
- All riders/spectators must have a wristband on at all times.
- Event apparel is sold at all events.
Rider Requirements
- Minimum riding gear: DOT-approved helmet, goggles, boots, long pants, and a long-sleeve shirt.
- No AMA or membership cards required.
- No pit riding at any time.
- Riders must be:
- 2 years or older to ride Stacyc Class.
- 4 years or older to ride a motorcycle or ATV (insurance requirement).
Event Details
- Classes are available for Pro, Amateur, and Youth Riders of all skill levels and ages for bikes and ATVs.
- Full class lists are run both Friday and Saturday.
- 3 events per weekend. All events are standalone, and riders can participate in one or all events. Times and classes remain consistent.
Winter MX Dates
- Dec 6/7, Jan 3/4, Jan 17/18, Jan 31/Feb 1, Feb 14/15.
Friday Events
- Doors open at 4 PM. Rider registration begins at 4 PM.
- Wristbands are required for all riders and spectators. Show wristbands to register and re-enter the building.
- Rider registration: $30 per class (cash or check).
- Friday practice begins at 6:30 PM, followed by racing.
MX Course
- Rider-friendly amateur MX track, perfect for all ages and skill levels.
- All riders (except non-scored Micro True Beginner classes) must have a large, clearly visible number. ATVs must have rear drop-down number plates to be scored and compete in MX events.
Additional Requirements
- Riders must complete a yellow data card legibly, including class number, name, and number.
- Riders under 18 must have a completed minor release (one release per weekend) and be present at registration with a parent/guardian.
- One moto format for both Friday and Saturday.
Awards and Pro Payback
- Pro payback: 1 per 3, 100% pro payback.
- Plaques are guaranteed to the top 3 in every youth and amateur class.
- All non-scored Micro ATV and True Beginner bike riders will receive plaques, regardless of finish.
Protests
- All protests must be addressed within 30 minutes of results being posted. Results after the protest period are final and cannot be changed.
Saturday Events
- Gate and rider registration open at 9 AM.
- Daily admission: $10 (cash or check only).
- Saturday open practice: 10 AM - 4 PM. Visit FastTraxxRacing.com for the full practice list.
- 4–6 PM: Track prep.
- 6 PM: Race practice for Saturday MX events. Racing follows immediately, typically starting between 7:30–8 PM (depending on rider numbers).
Class Selection
- Choose your class honestly according to your skill level. Sandbagging will not be tolerated.
- The goal is for all riders to enjoy a fun and fair race season competing with riders of similar skill levels.
